I own Makita for the vast majority of the power tools I own. I bought this excited to finally have a battery powered nail gun in my tool collection. Unfortunately, after sending about 250 nails on the first job, this tool was only 70% internal, at least flush with the finished surface. The rest is between 1/8 inch and sometimes 1 inch. It went into pine. Various nail lengths from 1 1/2" to 2 1/2". I love the brand but couldn't leave this tool. returned. **Edit** I had a chance to releaseβ¦

Received and tested today: Drives no nails; it keeps crashing. Maybe I got a defective product? I decide to return it for a replacement. This review will be updated once I receive a replacement. So I see so many bad reviews and I'm going to upset you! Don't bother reading other people's idiotic reviews. They say it doesn't drive nails into words, do they? Rschunimagu. This pistol is sold with hammer nails in 2 1/2 oak. What they don't tell you is they use a 2.0 or 3.0 battery. This weapon requires 4.0 battery or higher, then press it down with a weight, just fire any nail gun, weight alone is not enough! Makita made in Japan is superior to any other brand.
