Enhance Aquarium Filtration with Marina Slim Filter Carbon Plus Ceramic Cartridge - 18-Pack Review

Two weeks after following the instructions and rinsing before installation, my fish died. Maybe it's coincidence, but I feel like I'd be better off with the original filter. Also, for them, the fibers were much thicker than the original ones, which may have impeded the flow of water. Again, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I have bought these filters many times with no problems. However today they came in a small brown plastic bag and there was only a pack of three instead of two. The photo shows that 2 packages were delivered today, but it was only 3 packages! :(. I'm so disappointed! These cartridges are very easy to use! Just take the old one out and put the new one in. Very little clutter. I keep an old towel nearby to wipe away any water that drips off the cartridge. I use it on my Marina 3 flushing filter/pump and am very happy with it. When changing the water, I change one or two at a time. Make sure the right side is facing the front of your aquarium. Bought for a neighbor thinking it came with 18 cartridges as 18 packs are listed and in the picture It says 3x per pack so choose a size 6 made me think that 6 counts = 6 packs and 6 x 3 = 18. My neighbor only wanted to spend $3 for 2 cartridges but I convinced him that $10.19 were a good deal for 1 cartridge. This is a misleading post.
