These filters seem to keep the water clean with minimal effort on my part. We use 2 at a time and change them about every 2 months with no problem. Easy to use, just rinse and install.

Change the filter once a month and I've had no problems with my 29 gallon aquarium. Have 5 snails to suppress algae growth. Requires minimal tank cleaning, just monthly water changes and stone removal.

My turtle's water tank is always clean thanks to these replacement filters. I have tried several brands and this is by far the most reliable. Don't worry if you see drips around the box, this is normal.

Not sure if they are original or just inferior quality but they were odd in color, very dusty from the charcoal and the spongy part was too hard in the Compared to the one I would consider it a regular product. In any case, the price-performance ratio is ok, hence 3 stars.
