These are the best stencil brushes. They work. They won't soften over time. They don't bend over time. The bristles do not fall out over time. I've used sponges and they can make a big mess. These are clean. Make my template accurate! I love them and will not use any other brand.

These brushes have a nice soft plastic coating over a wooden handle. I wish I knew that wood absorbs water and wood expansion cracks plastic. The first one ripped after the first wash. The second cracked after soaking overnight - then the end fell off so I could see the wood and understand why the cracks were appearing.

I doubted they would do any better than my regular brush but they did the job well and held back bleeding when I stenciled over wood. Leave a small amount of paint on the brush and spread it evenly over the work area. The bristles are also easy to clean. No complaints but wish there was a hole in the handle so you can hang it on the board.
