My FJ Cruiser has small cracks on the back seat as soon as you get in. I bought 2 of these to hide the tear and keep it from getting bigger. This is the smallest patch that gets the job done. The black matches the color of the seats in my car, but it's still visible and looks like a big stain. I have a small tear in the side of the driver's seat on my 2002 Honda Odyssey. This patch miraculously covered the hole and did a decent repair for a few dollars instead of spending $100 on a professional repair or leather replacement. But after 2-3 months at the latest, the glue has stopped working and sticking to the skin. (First I trimmed the fine fibers and cleaned the leather seat to give the glue the best chance to work, and this is an extra car that's driven 1 or 2 times a week at most.)
