Quality Wavemaker for Aquariums

As a hesitant buyer in the Pet Supplies industry, I was impressed by the Maxspect Gyre XF350 Spare Wavemaker available for use with my aquarium pump. My analysis of this product showed that it provides a steady flow of water that's great for my small fish tank. The quiet motor and easy installation make it a great addition to my aquarium. The only downside is the initial price, but the durable construction makes it worth the investment. Highly recommend for fish and aquatic pet owners.

Pros
  • High-quality spare part for Maxspect Gyre XF350 Wavemaker
Cons
  • Must be purchased separately, adding extra cost to the initial setup

I ordered 8 pieces. 4 not working 50% failure wow

I have ordered a total of 4 controllers and 8 XF-350 pumps. Of these, 2 pumps and 1 controller failed and were never switched on. And 2 weeks after using another set, 2 pumps and 1 controller stopped working and never turned on again. This is not to mention that the other 2 stopped working, but the new firmware installed got these 2 working again. So if you count these, 6 out of 8 controllers had problems! The bounce rate is 75% but luckily she has achieved an amazing 50% bounce rate. CoralVue…

Squeezes water, doesn't blow it out. You need to buy a controller.

Absolutely quiet. Replaced 2 MP40s on a 6ft shallow reef. The MP40s failed to hit the center of the tank. 2 cycles can, but that's hardly enough. The current on the short spiral ramp actually pushes the water through the tank and looks more natural. Cleaning is just ok. More dismountable parts than the MP40, and I recommend (as with the MP40) getting extra wet side panels so you can twist them out. on.Negatives: My hardware controller died in the morning before leaving for vacation.
