Low Quality Best in Electrics

Strap easily detaches from connector (cap). When buying, pay attention to the strong connection between the strap and the cap.

Pros
  • Wiring Harnesses
Cons
  • No Paint Required

Installing a Protective Cap on the SAE Wire

Use a 12mm/0.47in split ring available at a craft store such as Michael's or a tackle shop. Thread the SAE cable through the split ring and then through the farthest loop.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Very Expensive

. They can be attached to the cable with a bandage. I have one of these installed but I don't think it will last as long as the original. Also, they are very tight on the tender's battery connectors so it's a bit difficult to pull them out and you tend to put some force on the strap which will soon come loose in this cold weather. I think a little lube makes it easier on and off.

Pros
  • . Spare parts
Cons
  • . So-so
