I love this block and have been using it for a number of years. Every guitar I build uses this block. Just a high quality soft sanding pad.

I used it for wet polishing my car's headlights. It was a bit big for this job but still great for my other sanding projects.

This foam block is great for wet sanding. The foam holds well wrapped sandpaper and its flexibility is great for sanding corners. Ideal for sanding imperfections in car paintwork and restoring cloudy headlights. Perfect!

I bought one of these many years ago (at least 20 years). This new one is made from a different, more flexible foam. I haven't had any issues though and in truth it could do better on curves and edges. For the work I do (guitars) I like it better than a hard piece of wood. I have not compared this mat to similar products.

Shipping took a while (over 2 weeks) so I was lucky I didn't rush it. I use this pad on woodwork with self-adhesive paper for sanding curved surfaces. It works well. It's tight enough to evenly distribute pressure, yet flexible to easily conform to curved surfaces. Have used it both wet and dry and it still feels like new. It claims it can be used as a squeegee, although I've used it as such I think it will work very well. I wish it was the same size but thicker to fit my hand better, but then…
