These socks are very comfortable. I am a female shoe size 8. I bought a pair of small/medium socks to wear with hunting boots and they exceeded my expectations. Necessary!

So far these are great socks. They look big. One size smaller than my usual fits better. Really soft, comfortable, well padded and doesn't smell like chemical factory like some other brands.

I bought these for extreme hiking in Yosemite. You didn't disappoint us. Perfect fit, VERY comfortable. No blistering or chafing after a 15-mile 4,000-foot hike. I wear size 9 shoes but bought a small/medium which is still very comfortable. I find that tight socks prevent blisters.

My husband has big feet and we were looking for better quality socks for him as we hike more. It's a size 13, we took XL and they fit very well. He said they don't slip or fall off the heel at all. However, they are not perfect as bubbles still appear. Some of his other socks, like the Feetures, protect his feet better this way.

I bought these because I'm going camping with my brother-in-law next week. When I put them on the day she arrived, my wife looked at me like I had two heads. why are you wearing them She asked. I told her I had to break her. Well, these socks are so comfortable and soft that they don't need to be broken in. I wear shoe size 13 and chose size L/XL. They fit well and protrude a few inches past the line of my low-cut sneakers. I think that's how kids wear them these days. Buy them and enjoy!

I usually wear trail runners every day so I bought these socks for everyday use in the first place. They fit well (I bought L/XL and I'm about a 12.5) and aren't too tight around the ankle. They're not made of wool and aren't particularly warm in cooler weather, so they're more suited to outdoor activities in warmer weather unless you're going to be moving a lot to keep your feet warm.
