Exactly! Mens: Open

These fit like Merrell (wide sizes anyway) should be - slightly open toe, subtle arch support (happened with other Merrell shoes I've bought), runs true to size in comparison to other Merrell shoes I have had and overall had a very comfortable shoe. Like any good shoe, they will likely have a moderate break-in period for most people, but so far I'm quite happy. My son is in the snow. My feet have been dug into the snow a few times and the shoes have never gotten soaked, so their waterproofโ€ฆ

Poor quality and construction

Very disappointed with the durability of this product and can only give these boots 2 stars due to serious quality and durability issues. I've bought many Merrell hiking boots over the years and have enjoyed the comfort, but this was the first boot I've ordered with GORE-TEX. Different from the original Moab GTX

This is the fifth pair of Moabs I have owned. The first 3 were the original moab GTX. Fits perfectly. I ordered Moab 2 waterproof and Moab 2 GTX. Both are narrower and not as long as the old version. These were my favorite shoes for hiking and walking around town in winter. Now I have to find a new brand.

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
Cons
  • No instructions

Good shoes worth the investment

First time I got a well constructed piece from the Merrel brand. Worth the money The forefoot does not fold like most shoes. This is an enhanced convenience feature. This style looks great as we finally get back to social life. I can wear them all day without chafing on the sides or causing discomfort on my ankle. A style suggestion: Prepare the laces holding the knot!

Pros
  • Comfortable to wear
Cons
  • Everything is fine
