Cramped and smelly in my rating.

As with previous reviews, it is cramped and my son felt uncomfortable in it. The biggest problem was that after wearing it, the feet were very smelly and sweaty.

Pros
  • I absolutely LOVE this sandal. Easy to slip on and off, protects my daughter's feet while still retaining the feel of a sandal.
Cons
  • I expected them to be wider.

Charming but smelly

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for: cute, (apparently) comfortable and just right for my son's wide foot. We got to the point where he wore them almost every day to run the sprinkler, go to the pool, swim, etc. That's when we realized they STINK! If they were on his feet, his feet smell. If they are in a diaper bag, everything inside needs to be washed to get rid of the smell. If they're anywhere near an air vent in a car, we get complaints. I am back online and looking for an…

Crossed halter defect

I have ordered the same shoes twice in three days. I have already returned the first pair and will be returning the second pair for the same reason - broken cruciate ligament retainer. The holder on the first pair had already ripped off, so I went back and ordered a replacement. My 7 year old wore a new pair to church and had the same issue. Sandals are good for lounging in the water and on land, but not for running.

Nice looking blue and neon green sandals. Ideal for a quick dip in the water with or without sandals. Not great as an active running shoe, foot slips and slides in, wear layers of socks to fill out. The only adjustment strap is at the top. Permanently elasticated on the rest of the upper, there is no way to adjust the tension or loosen these elastic straps. feels nice but large

I'll start by saying I'm an adult and I wear Keens in a size 7.5 for women and Adidas/Nike in I wear a size 6.5 for men. I have found that I can also fit in children's shoes. I usually wear a size 5 in Big Kids Keens. I also have wide feet, but I don't usually buy "wide" shoes. I bought this shoe in a "wide" size and it definitely fit my foot width, but overall it was too big. If I had worn socks with him they might have fitted better so I sent them back. I bought a size 5.
