🔋 Metabo 18V Angle Grinder - 5.5Ah Battery Included Review

Well, when I saw their "replace cord grinder” ad, I thought they were kidding. well now i know. This thing is unreal, we use it in the store, and it's actually faster than a corded tool (I'm talking about the Metabo Pro grinder, not the $39 Depot thing). Great great tool, very strong, you can lean on it. will not stop. Much faster than any other brushless grinder. WOW! And also on the lead time, we can make many cuts, don't worry. Highly recommended.

I bought a 6" cutoff first and after trying it out decided to buy it as 110V in some of the factories, where I work are hard to find. . I've been using this grinder for a few months with no problems, I don't do much grinding, mostly bar deburring or edge grinding. Suddenly it doesn't work. I turn it on and it accelerates to full speed and stops immediately with such force that if I try multiple times it loosens the lock nut holding the pad. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact Metabo.

I shopped all day before deciding on this tool and compared it to Walter and cheaper brands. It does a good job on all my angle grinder work without my cheap Kawasaki vario speed. The anti-collision circuitry worked well, working twice for me and 20 times for a newbie. The air filter and air-cooled battery pack are a revelation. The tool's weight balance is such that I can rotate it in the air to set it in position, just like I do with my hammers. You can't do that with a corded grinder! What I
