Enhance Audio Experience: Metra 70-5513 Ford Amplifier Eliminator Wiring Harness – A Perfect Fit! Review

I ordered this to bypass the booster in my 1997 Ford Explorer. I found that the smaller connector was not the right size to connect to the speaker out connector which was much smaller. The wires were labeled, I was able to find the factory speaker wiring list and just snip a small connector off that wire harness, snip the connector off the amp output jack and just plug them right in. Installed on a 1995 Mustang to bypass the factory amp. There is one fork in the photo, but there are two in it. One end goes to the connector that was removed from the amp, the other smaller end had to be cut off and firmly attached to the new radio's speaker wires. It works, I just don't know why there is a smaller end as it doesn't fit the car or the new Metra harnesses I was using. I called Metra and they gave me great installation advice.
