Works as described. Brackets fit well. In the case of a 2-DIN navigation system or radio, the middle holder must be cut out. Use a dremel to make this easier and cleaner (no dremel required. Just a suggestion). I have a Dremel but I used a box cutter because I was at work when I installed it. I took my time and was able to make a clean cut. Installs it in an '07 Dodge Charger SRT8 and replaces the factory navigation with an aftermarket navigation.

Very easy to knit and looks professional. Deducted 1 star because I had to file the corners of the interior trim to fit. Although it is easy to cut, and the cut edges are not visible after installation, so no special care is required. Everything fits perfectly except for the inner frame; The corners were too square to fit in the rounder outer frame. Less than a minute with a file rounding the corners and it fits perfectly. This is my wife's 2007 charger which she is very picky about and loves.

Nothing to say about this Metra kit other than that according to my research it is supposed to be the best DDIN head unit mounting dash kit available for my car (2007 Dodge Ram 1500). is. Serves its purpose, but the fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. Once installed, the HU fit is slightly crooked, with the left side protruding slightly compared to the right.
