There were extra wires for the steering wheel control adapter

The only complaint was that one of the horizontal 'walls' was slightly curved inwards which made inserting the dash wiring harness a bit fiddly. But I got through it. The good thing is that this adapter harness includes the extra wires needed to connect when the ASWC-1 adapter retains steering wheel control with the aftermarket head unit. They were already in the right places and matched the wires in the dash wiring harness so I didn't have to remove any clamps, just put them into the wiring…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No automatic

Minimum Pins

I bought this to pull the pins because the one that came with my Crutchfield kit only had the bare minimum to connect to your radio. I had no intention of splicing my factory harnesses to retain steering control so I bought this extra one to steal the pins which of course came in the same way as the first one I got. I really wish they had ALL the pens with them. It's easy to terminate with pre-stripped wires, but I still insulate more to make a proper Lineman/Western Union connection before…

  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Useless Features

You may need two!

Was installing a Sony DSX-B700 and an Axxess ASWC-1 (SWC) steering wheel control adapter in a Mazda when I found the harness was missing 70-7903 pins/wiring on pin 1N. and 1P pinout to connect steering wheel control adapter to car wiring harness. So I bought another wire harness to remove the pins needed for the install. FYI: You will need a precision pick or precision screwdriver to remove the pins, the "colors" of the wires don't match the diagrams, just mark them with a small piece of tape…

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Connection to the Mazda 3 2007 factory chassis made EASY!

I used it to connect my new Kenwood receiver to my 2007 Mazda 3 radio wiring harness. Very easy to install, basically just match the Metra harness wires (by color) to the wires of your new receiver harness and you are good to go. However, I would always check the wires for minor differences (i.e. check your receiver's installation instructions with the Metra wire harness). You can connect the wires with nuts, soldering or crimping; However, I tried 18-24 #600 posi-lock connectors in a pack of 9

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Too bad I didn't realize this before I started sewing.

I bought two of these to remove the contacts needed for the lights, steering wheel controls and antenna booster wiring. One of them was almost completely filled with wires, the other was missing two of them. Too bad I didn't figure it out before I started plugging it in. All wires were pre-stripped which was a godsend. Everything was clearly marked and labeled so installation was easy. One of the connectors had a noticeable crease at the top, the flat part shown in the picture, so it would have

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • Requires socket

Simplified connection to 2006 MX5 NC Miata but not all features

I have this Binize 7 inch Android 10 main unit along with Metra Electronics wire harness 70-7903 (specifically designed for 2006 MX5 ) Bought. The Metra harness connects to the vehicle harness on one end and to the Binize harness on the other end. Metra wiring harness is not required but simplifies installation. I followed the instructions in the manual for the specific vehicle and surprisingly had no problems. The radio worked the first time but it took another 12+ hours for the steering wheel
