HARD TO USE on tools and equipment

I BOUGHT 4 OF THESE CANS. I use them for my RV alternator and also for UTV. Red "safety" button, lever. or whatever is made out of tin cans that is almost impossible to use without the help of another pair of hands and a large pair of pliers. I finally cut off the red "whatever" and now the jars work perfectly. They won't spill when tipped until you press the little hook at the top of the spout. When not pouring, the spring-loaded part of the spout makes a good seal.

What looks like a good idea doesn't work because of poor quality.

Idea: The spout is tight until the cap opens, and when you push the end of the spout to the bottom of the gas tank, the valve opens and gas flows out. When the spout is completely clear of the bottom of the bottle, the valve closes and the gas flow stops. Disadvantage: Careless molding of plastic parts results in press-fit parts. The closure, which is difficult to open, is difficult to open by hand, and the contact pressure on the spout is so great that it threatens to break the plastic tank…

Wow just wow. suitable for tools and equipment

What the heck? Why take something simple and make it ridiculously worse? The stupid plastic safety insert makes it almost impossible to fill up at a gas station, and I guarantee you'll have a constant gurgle of spilling gas as you try to fill a gallon. Forget more than that. Won't happen. And then when you actually try to fill something with it, it becomes painfully hard too. I have never seen a gas cylinder so perfectly designed to spread gas everywhere. I lose hope in humanity when I think…

Terrible Design Best at Garage & Shop

I was in dire need of a gas canister and for some reason the one I wanted was banned from shipping to California. Anyway, I ended up with this one that had no safety spout instructions. You have to click on the red lever and then on the top of the spout to open the stream. And HOLD it! He doesn't get up. The nozzle is rigid and not flexible. I would definitely use a funnel when using this gas canister. The manufacturer has completely overdone it with this security feature. You cannot fill the…

Not recommended

My old gas bottle is leaking due to wear on the seal on the lid. I needed a new one as mowing season is here. I went to the reliable Revain and chose this one, it was cheap and had decent reviews. Bad choose. The instructions are not clear and the thing is almost impossible to work with. My old can had a clicker that had to be activated to pour, but it was incredibly easy to use. This one, not so much. After wrestling with it for a while, I just unscrewed the damn thing and poured gasoline from

It's easy to improve security and usability by omitting built-in features.

All of these safety benches are dangerous because manufacturers are forced to introduce ridiculous safety features. In most cases, these features make the product clunky and dangerous. On this particular product, using needle nose pliers to stretch the top of the groove that the red pin goes in and out can help prevent the pin from jamming. In a video posted by another reviewer, he flipped the edge of the latch. When you pour the bottle, it should be at the bottom of the spout. With the fuse…

Can't inject gas, can't outgas

All the negative reviews complain about the "safe" spout, which is a valid complaint as it's almost impossible to vent gas from this bottle. My biggest complaint is the gas that gets into the jug in the first place. Inside the glass is a plastic insert with many small holes. Go to the gas station, put the nozzle in the canister and you will get wet when you pull the lever to get gas. The only way to get him to take anything is to have a flow rate of about 1/4 gallon per hour. I stood at the gas
