Poorly made imported junk

I'm disappointed in the Midwest that they chose to use a poor quality Chinese manufacturer for their products. I ordered two of these boxes and none had manufacturing defects. On the first drawer, one of the side door latches was ripped out of the drawer and loosened due to broken welds attaching it to the drawer. Also, the overall fit of the box is so poor that it requires reinforcement with zip ties to pull the frame together to keep it assembled; this completely negates its use for travel…

Heavy and hard maneuvering

Very heavy. The box arrived a bit crumpled which led me to believe the items were sent back sooner. But I bought it like new. It's expensive for the quality you get. A plate arrived bent. I opened it alone but a second person would be helpful as the cage weighs over 100lbs. The metal is heavy. I had to slide an old blanket underneath to slide around the house. Two people are required to lift and carry. I doubt we would fold it up for travel. We are getting a medium sized dog, he is now 12 weeks

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Useless features

Good (not great) portable wire cage for the price. The construction and materials aren't as good as the old galvanized (light brass colored) wire cages, but that's true of most products. Suitable for dogs that do well in the cage. For dogs that can run away, you need to strengthen the cage. I added a 1/4" U-shaped wire clip or two on all edges (front and back top and side edges) of the cage that weren't already crimped (crimped) together and used double 4-5/8" bolt fasteners (top, side and…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation

LARGE AND SPACIOUS FOR OUR CUTE GREYHOUND GIRL

ULITMA PRO DOG CASE We have had our Greyhound Kisser for almost two years now. We recently lost our greyhound Natalie due to old age. Unfortunately, greyhounds suffer from separation anxiety. We have an 11 month old Whippet/Heinz 57 mix, Diego, who survived Hurricane Maria and is now our newest baby. When we leave home we store it in a box in our attached heated garage. Kiss was comfortable in the house alone until one day we came home and she was afraid to be alone. She tried to get into the…

  • Easy to use
