Miele SES121 Electric Hose S8 (UNIQ Model Excluded) Review

I bought a Miele S8 Cat & Dog vacuum cleaner in 2013. Since then he has been cleaning up after both. Suddenly the power brush ran out of power. I took the head and hose ends apart but found nothing wrong. I've cleaned and reassembled everything but to no avail. We also have a mini brush and that didn't work either so I tried the hose. Brand new OEM hose, fits and works perfectly. Everything is like new.

I needed this as a spare for my S8 home care. I own a cleaning business and my first house had a wire lock that couldn't be fixed. This happened almost 3 years later. It was still usable, but I couldn't turn on the rotating brush while cleaning. So this is a replacement. Works just as well as the original. I'll try to keep the knob and body from rotating too much as that will cut the last wire. This seller had the best price I found online with free shipping. Shipping was pretty slow though, so

Knock on wood, this hose works as promised. I have a Miele C3 Alize which has an outlet on the hose console but only sucks on the hose/hose/head. I decided to upgrade to a powered hose/wand/head for additional carpet cleaning capabilities. It's definitely heavier and stiffer compared to non-electric hoses, but gets the job done with a power head.
