    Simple but smart. I rarely use dowels, but now there were pieces.

    Simple and yet smart. I rarely use dowels, but now the pieces were smaller than my carpenter could fit and making the mortise peg looked too much. Worked perfectly. A better storage box would have been nice instead of the celluloid coating left over from the packaging, but to be honest, the price was unreasonable. DIY, worthy of a good storage box, complete with Milescraft 5342 drill stops.

    Worked great for connecting my table legs together

    I don't see how anyone could leave a bad review for these little workhorses. They fit perfectly on the legs of my dining table. All I had to do was drill holes, insert them, slant the edges, and apply some pressure. I made 12 ribs and they all turned out great! I couldn't believe it when I realized it was all I needed to get my carpentry up and running instead of spending a tedious amount of time building a jig. For what this thing can do, it costs a lot more than $4. I just want more haha

    Good production but poor design

    First they are accurate, strong and sharp. They fit snugly in the holes, which is a problem because they are very difficult to get out of the holes. I spent quite a bit of time and energy extracting them to proceed to the next step. However, they greatly improve the overall dowel installation process and allow you to get accurate alignment on the first try. Why do I say they are badly designed? The diameter is too close to the hole size. They should be a few thousandths of an inch smaller in…
