Good gearbox, bad engine design.

I have rarely used this drill since 2002 but it has done a great job drilling holes in concrete, brick etc. Very good transmission, excellent speed and performance. My problem with the drill is that the commutator brushes are tiny for the power of the motor and when they're worn to the point of thickness, they're very difficult to replace. Opening the drill is difficult and the brushes are difficult to install. In the end I refused the exchange and threw the drill away completely because the…

Milwaukee Bug

I've owned this drill for four years. The motor works great, there is a lot of power, the drill chuck, which is crucial for an impact drill, does not work. ROM manufacturer. I will no longer buy drills with drill chucks from the "Rum" brand. I REALLY LOVE THIS DRILL!

I LOVE THIS DRILL! I did a lot of research before deciding on this one. I'm a DIYer so I won't be using this commercially. What can I say, this "baby" does its job well. I am building a 30' x 50' garage and need to drill about 50 7/8" holes in 10" deep two week old concrete. I didn't try a single 7/8" bit.
