These socks have been worn.

Garbage socks. My wife ordered these socks for me. I read the reviews and found them worth it. Socks arrived today in sealed transparent packaging. Imagine my surprise when I opened them up to find them worn defiantly. Luckily they were washed, as evidenced by the smell of fabric softener. There were signs of wear on the heels of both socks. They were worn in more than one place. I will never buy from this company again.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Expensive

Warm and Comfortable

I should have bought these socks a year earlier when I first started working outdoors in the cold North Dakota winters. Since I started wearing Minus33 baselayers I will not switch brands at all. They offer warmth and comfort and I can wear this company's base layers and socks when it's -10 degrees Fahrenheit or colder and I hardly feel the cold or I need to wear a lot more layers over it. Great product and I'm glad I found it at Revain. Worth the price.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Thin

My favorite winter socks

I need durable winter socks and these are my favorites. The main reason is that the toe box is bigger than my goddamn shoes, which also make excellent mountaineering socks. I will say putting them in the dryer is a very bad idea. For some reason my other minus33 clothes dry fine in the dryer, but socks? nope Do yourself a favor and hang them up to dry. It doesn't take long and they're too good and too expensive to ruin, even on low tumble dryer temperatures. I just ordered another pair.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Useless features

These socks are not for low temperatures.

I have been wearing these socks for over 3 months now. They are comfortable but not as warm as I would hope. I work as an ironworker in New York and work outside all day. I'm always on the move. I wear these socks with 600g insulated boots. 30-35 degrees my feet get very cold 20-29 degrees my feet freeze 10-20 degrees my feet freeze instantly and tend to get a little wet. Overall good socks for 35+ degrees but not for low temperatures which is what I was looking for. I assumed my feet would…

Simply the best! for men

To all my motorcycle brothers and sisters. Take all your socks and the prepayment to throw in the bin. I've heard all the stories about merino wool and put these socks and undershirt to the test on 3 rides totaling over 6,000 miles. It's hard to put into words; plush, comfortable, shape-retaining and won't slip into boots, stay dry and warm-warm-warm even with sweet feet. After testing this company and their products, I purchased three medium pairs, three light pairs, and one heavy or…

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Crumpled

Seams are comfortable and strong

This is my second pair of Minus33 Merino Wool Expedition Mountaineer Socks that I have bought. The stitching is comfortable and durable, I've had my first pair since last year and keep changing during the winter months. I can say that I don't see any tears or holes in the heel and toe area of these socks. I find the socks to be snug on my foot but the alignment is perfect. This means the healing stops where I heal and not somewhere above the ankle or arch of the foot. I also found that they…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • I won't say anything

All you need are socks!

You're an idiot not to wear these. The doctor advised me to buy thicker socks if I had foot problems and I got these. looks like i'm barefoot. These socks seem to last forever and when I renew my sock box I give the old ones to my co-workers who suddenly only wear socks like this. I work in situations where we have laundry issues and could wear these socks for a week or more before needing cleaning - even washing in the sink and drying overnight. If I were homeless this would be absolutely the…
