I love it so far. There are several things.

Like it so far. There are a few things that keep it from staying cold, one of which is the coolant tank right next to it, which gets very hot.

Doesn't fit as advertised.

The question Mishimoto answered says that the intake manifold should fit all M52/M54/M56 engines on the e46 chassis, which is not the case. The 330ci's MAF is too big for the trunk to fit or go through the intended opening.

It also gave the car a slight turbo-like squeal as all the air was sucked in.

The first mod I bought for my E46. I installed it along with the Mishimoto silicone intake boot to complement the improved intake and to serve as preventive maintenance. Installation was delayed only by the tricky placement of the worm gear clamps on the old boots when I tried to take them off, a step only required when upgrading or replacing. I had to fit the filter over my elbow before hooking it up to my existing mass air flow sensor so it would fit behind my headlights, which didn't seem…
