The picture is not deceiving, "cushion" is flat inside! It's the same thickness as cardboard! Well it's a joke. Also, the seams inside are terrible for creatures with any kind of claws, even severed ones. You will be drawn in.

Not really suitable for adult guinea pigs. The small size means larger rodents have to curl up in it to sleep, and guinea pigs have fragile spines. Great for young guinea pigs, my 6 month old guinea pig loves it, just not practical for adult guinea pigs.

I recommend this product for price and quality but NOT for guinea pigs. We bought 4 of these as we have 4 guinea pigs and I kept trying to cut, sew and modify them to make them work and they are just TOO small even for a 6 month old guinea pig maybe one skinny pig, but not a fluffy pig. . Great product but for the right animal.

For those of you who would like one for your chinchillas I think it's worth it as chinchillas can be very shy and need hiding places for privacy. I gave 4 stars because the material is thin in the sense that it has a tear. Also, this bed stays raised but your pet can easily turn it over. This is clearly not the fault of the manufacturer or the breed as a whole, my chinchillas tend to scratch it but I have no control over what they do.
