Worst Masonry Fasteners I've Tried

My analysis of this product showed that the screws easily stripped and often broke off during installation. A major con is the poor quality of the screws which made my project take longer than expected and resulted in a lot of frustration .The only pro was the affordable price but in this case, you truly get what you pay for..

Pros
  • Strong and durable due to their masonry construction, providing a secure hold.
Cons
  • May pose a challenge to remove once fastened into place.

Do not buy! Doesn't work in concrete!

Do not buy! Doesn't work in concrete! This is a poor imitation of Tapcon screws. The material is soft and will not work in concrete. Replaced with Tapcon screws and it works great. I bought these thinking they would be a little cheaper and in larger quantity than the hundreds of Tapcon screws I used to attach the plywood to the concrete floor panel. No problem with Tapcon screws (except for a few broken #3 screwdrivers from time to time), but these screws are pure junk, not good for concrete…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
