My German Shepherd is between large and very large. Now that it was getting colder, she had gained weight and needed a larger collar. We bought her this and it works very well. We didn't have the wear and tear issue that the other reviewer had. Thanks to Velcro, it is adjustable and fits well on it. It looks like a tactical military collar that was part of the appeal. She loves it, we love it, and sister is still chewing on it, so 5 stars from me!

Nice collar, definitely quality durable material and great metal buckle. But 3 stars for the metal used in this collar. It doesn't stand up to moisture and rusted the second day my pup wore it. The buckle was stained with rust, as was the loop for the leash. If they could use a different metal or coat it with something to prevent rusting that would definitely be a 5 star rating.

We have had the collar for 6 months. The large size fits a full size and healthy weight German Shepherd. Very durable. Our guy can jump right over our 6 foot fence so we have to keep him tethered even if the pots break in the backyard. A couple of times he "felt" something on the other side of the fence while we were in the house and he would smack the leash so hard he ripped his old collars, which got on his nerves. I find the collar strong and durable just not easy to adjust. A 93 pound German shepherd held with this is great, but if she makes a small circle she will come out quickly. I can put it back on him which I think is good so he doesn't get stuck on things but in case he tries to go for a walk chasing a squirrel or whatever.
