I was skeptical about the bedside table but it turned out to be great. This is the perfect height for my bed and the MDF/chipboard is of good quality (matte finish not glossy which makes it look cheap). I changed the grip on mine to improve the look which was very easy and only cost me a few extra bucks. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Not suitable for open accent tables. The back of the cabinet has an open particle board (no veneer on the edges). It's really disappointing that the manufacturer skimped on this and made this otherwise very good product cheaper. I was looking for a very low bedside table and this one suits me. Arrived needing full assembly (just some boards and screws) but love doing it. The assembly took exactly one hour. The end result was surprisingly durable! The drawer slides out smoothly. "Wood" is a wood-plastic laminate over chipboard, and the back and bottom of the drawer is a kind of glorified cardboard.
