We originally installed a Danco faucet but we had a problem with it flying out and not staying in place. When we came across this one we had to try it based on the reviews. Was hesitant because of the price but it was worth it! It installed in minutes and so far there have been no problems. Definitely safer than other faucets. Save yourself the frustration and join us!

I needed a longer spout and the Danco brand fittings are just gross to put on. I took this out of the box, cleaned my worn pipe with white vinegar, used 120 grit sandpaper to remove any burrs or corrosion and put it on. No leaks the first time. I will say that if the pipe has some mobility, then due to the possibility of a quick connection, you will not get a tight connection to the wall. Replaced with a cheaper Danco nose pad. The Danco slip mechanism was of questionable quality/reliability. This slides right onto your copper pipe and is tightened down with a set screw. Only 1 piece, very simple. Metal construction and smooth shifting mechanism. Seals well, no leaks. I wish the wall portion was wider to cover the tile holes left by the previous spout, but that's a minor complaint. It looks good, is 7 inches longer than the average spout and has a unique style.

Excellent quality. First off, I understand that this is an expensive item when you've already spent a lot, but Delta's original unit was too short for our deep whirlpool tub. The Delta unit is dirty in the photos because the tub has just been installed. There are fingerprints on the new device, but they should go away once I wipe it down with olive oil.
