This was a Christmas present for a good friend. she loved it. Her home is a rustic cabin style, and she has expressed her enjoyment of the look. She showed us a photo (sorry I don't have it) of her standing by the fireplace and it looked really cute.

The thickness and plush of the carpet are comfortable. It also withstands heavy traffic and vacuuming. Stars look like yellow spots, they generally annoy me. I think it's a dog that peed or vomited then remember it's a star!

I was so excited to receive this item when I ordered it as I have been doing gold, silver/grey and white decorations in my house this holiday. The only thing is the background, the color of which is a little different from what I expected in the picture, but everyone liked it anyway.

Based on the photos on the product page the carpet looks grey. There is no description of the color of the carpet. As you can see the rug is brown (with some red spots) compared to my gray throw. It's ok, just not the color I was looking for. Although it appears to be well made and has a rubber backing to keep it from moving. According to the label only spot cleaning.

I bought this rug because I wanted something festive for the holidays and although reviewers said they were disappointed because it was brown instead of grey, I decided not to brown is better for my home. Well, generally disappointed. It doesn't look like the picture at all. There are many colors and it looks like the rug you see in a log cabin, which is fine if that's the look you're after.
