Very strong lifters in dampers, struts and suspension

Very strong lifters, tired of keeping the sunroof open on cold days. Now I have to be careful that the hatch doesn't open too quickly.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Only available in white

easy installation, good performance

Good supplier and delivery. Easy installation, takes a second. Used on Ford Explorer Sport. The diameter is slightly larger than my original OEM parts that I replaced, but they work great.

Pros
  • Main Seal: The main seal provides a positive seal for high pressure gas.
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Those were the wrong bearings for my car.

These were the wrong bearings for my car. The quality of the jacks themselves appeared to be OE, but the connections and overall length were incorrect.

Pros
  • Nitrocarburized rod: for exceptional corrosion resistance and durability.
Cons
  • Crumpled

Product OK in Shock Absorbers, Struts & Suspension

I ordered two pieces to replace both luggage racks. They don't seem to be quite the same length (by a few millimeters) so I have to force one of them to fit. Now they are working fine, but one of them is making unusual noises. Note that neither is labeled "Monroe". A: I contacted the manufacturer who confirmed their authenticity.

Pros
  • Circlip: Circlip and limiting groove ensure precise linear expansion.
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model

Stable Solid Supports

I bought a pair of these jacks for the back door of my 1999 Ford Explorer XLT which has hardly held up against the heavily worn originals. Buyers should be aware that these props are much larger in diameter than the factory originals. At first it looked like the Monroe's legs were too big for the tailgate to close properly, but that wasn't a problem. They are easy to install with no gaping problems and work very well.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Plastic Guide: The strong plastic guide reduces the chance of rod abrasion.
Cons
  • Clarity
