Mopar Filters in Oil Filters

Most of my Dodge products use this filter and I only use it because it is an OEM filter. A good price for a premiere is easy to come by. Many Thanks.

It was exactly what I needed.

I needed to compare two brands of filters, for a 2003 4.0 with 55,000 miles, 10-30 syn Jeep Wrangler. I started using the TG16 a year ago and noticed the lift tick on take off. Switching to this factory filter solved the problem. So far, so good. (Both filters have a rubber flap to keep the oil at the top of the engine. I don't know if the filters have an expiration date and I may have bought older ones that had the rubber hardened.)

Caution! Check part number!

I did "buy again" 4 times, what's the problem? Changed the oil and put the filter in this morning and was wondering why it doesn't get as solid as the others. I didn't think about it until I started the car. Oil flooded the entire inside of the hood and my entire garage! Check the numbers on the filter to determine it was the wrong filter. I checked that the number I bought is correct but they sent me the wrong one! If he had stayed another minute, my engine would have blown when I left the…
