Put this filter on my '07 Mustang and it was a direct factory replacement (hopefully it's Motorcraft). Your vehicle will determine how easy the replacement will be. With the Mustang I had to jack up the car to get under it and then remove the plastic cover to get to the filter location. After that, the fuel lines were simply removed from the filter and immediately snapped back onto this filter. I have no problems with this filter and it is very similar to my car's original filter. I would buy this again. Note that removing and replacing the filter can be difficult.
