Carbon Ultralite Motorcycle Puncture Repair Review

Fits in every pocket, tiny bike compartment and even pocket. It's easy to use. Problems: 1. It is difficult to insert the plug into the guide tube: the plug is sticky.2. It is not trivial to imagine a real trace of a puncture in order to detect it with a stopper. So you may need 2-3 plugs. And remember: this is not a panacea, this is an emergency solution. Drive to your garage as soon as possible to get a proper tire patch.

I stopped a tire for the first time in my life and found this tool easy and effective in repairing a 4 inch nail hole. I was nervous about the results I would get from my beloved VFR 800, but after 500 miles my tire wasn't missing 1 pound of air. Initially unsure of how to successfully seal a tire, I now carry this handy kit in my tool kit and am not afraid to seal a tire myself as it is easy to do with this tool.

I bought this to hide on my bike. On numerous occasions I have taken screws, nails, etc. with me when traveling when it was necessary to find someone to "fix" the tire, interrupting the trip and calling into question the quality of the repair. At least I hope I can minimize that possibility. The product has excellent reviews and is definitely compact, lightweight and doesn't take up much space. So far, so good. I hope I never have to use it :-)

This kit fits perfectly in my tank bag and I will carry it with me from now on. I used it to fix a puncture on the top of a rear tire. This spot was the thickest part of the tire and the tip was very difficult to insert. It may help to inflate the tire while trying to push the tip. Eventually I had enough of the plug inserted into the hole and was able to finish the repair. A nice feature of this design is that the plug cannot come out again. Even if the print fails, you will get many warnings.

The product I received was sold as a motorcycle tire repair kit but was a bicycle tire repair kit. The manufacturer's UPC clearly stated on the packaging that it was for use with bicycle tires, but the seller stuck a barcode sticker over the UPC and incorrectly identified it as a motorcycle tire repair kit. The difference can only be that the motorcycle kit uses longer patch inserts. The three inserts in this set are too short to patch a thicker motorcycle tire profile. I liked the idea of…

I saw this on Amazon and thought it was a really smart idea so I bought one in place of the standard set. I have this on my bike just in case. Well I just had the 'opportunity' to test this on my bus. A small nail punctured the tire at a steep angle. I decided to plug the tire so I could mine was able to ride a bike until a spare tire came.I won't say this kit is a complete failure but I wouldn't count on this kit to work if given an apartment in the middle of nowhere with no cell service.I was
