Mount-It Stands are great value speaker stands. The silver and glass versions feature metallic painted aluminum tubing and thick glass tops and bottoms. It would be better if the support tubes were chrome plated or anodized aluminum which is my sole reason for the 4 star rating. The base allows you to use both carpet and hard floor thanks to the included plastic cups that fit over the pointed feet. I use them on carpet and found them to be tip resistant even with the speakers installed. Cutouts

I won't repeat what others have said - this stand looks good, is relatively easy to assemble (but why not go all the way and make it really easy to assemble and set up?) and how it works Applied. The only thing I don't understand is the stupid spikes below, which are completely unnecessary in the best design. Why spikes when either built-in screws avoid the right height on the ground, or why not cylinders instead of spikes. The rubber pads that now come with the cleats are also poorly designed…

We redesigned our rear speakers and used them for the bookshelf and counter. It was after a renovation and we needed speaker stands. I was looking at speaker company booths but when I saw this one from Mount-It I really liked it! Showed it to my wife, she liked it too. When assembling them, be sure to route the wires in one leg as you assemble them. Also, if you're installing them on a wooden floor, you'll have to go to a hardware store and buy screws to insert them from underneath to replace…

If like me you need a modern stand at an affordable price then at first glance they seem good. I didn't research where they were made and unfortunately that was my fault. I really can't expect much from this product. After all, it was made in China. When reassembling, the screw threads are terrible, causing some of the foot screws to screw in fully or only partially, causing balance issues on the stands themselves. I was pleasantly surprised by these coasters. They are well designed, easy to assemble and look good. They provide solid support for my monitors and to boot they come in silver, the perfect antidote to standard black audio hardware.
