Granddaughters love these pencil sharpeners. They have funny faces and there are enough of them to share! I liked the idea that they come in packs of six because the granddaughter always loses hers. Seems to hold up well until it breaks.

I broke one of these sharpeners while sharpening 12 new Prismacolor erasable crayons. I had to empty the container after about 10 pencils were sharpened by new ones. Lead is not broken, easy to sharpen to a sharp point. Works equally well with standard #2 pencils. Easy to empty. My kid kept some of these and gave some away to friends. They work great and fit thicker Ticonderoga My First Pencils. I can't say how long it will last, but I don't buy them expecting them to last more than a couple of weeks with constant use. The blade usually becomes dull and a replacement blade is more expensive than a sharpener. Retreat. The price is great.
