I spent 30 minutes hand sewing the incision because the mittens were completely useless and never worked properly. At least now I can wear them, but without the functionality I was looking for.

I gave this to my legal sister and she loved it! I have a photo somewhere on my phone that I was going to post where she is wearing it with a matching hat and scarf that I made for her and she looks so beautiful in her adorable winter clothes. I tried on these mittens before giving them to her and they are really warm and feel so soft. I wish I could consider buying a pair for myself.

Ideal for walking the dog. Very warm, incredibly soft (in fact I was afraid they would be too slippery to hold a leash), but still very functional. I can slide the line into the hole and hold it. I can use my fingers and actually open the poop sack, but then immediately slip my cold fingers back into the deliciously warm mitten. inconveniences as I expected.

I love the feel of these mittens! The good thing is you can open the top for your fingers but you will need to keep your arms/fingers slightly bent to keep cold air out as there is nothing to secure the seam. The ability to extend the thumb is unique, but I don't seem to use it as often as I thought I would. Difficult to use with a phone as the mittens are so soft they are very slippery. It's important to note that I really liked them, I ordered them in a different color.

Cute and soft, but not for very cold weather. The hole through which the gloves open is too wide and lets the cold in. But the thumb holes are too small. I wish there was a little elastic or button to keep part of the mitten open or closed. When you open the mitten to reveal your fingers, the mitten keeps folding down as you try to work your fingers. I would wear them in late fall as they are still cute but not for colder weather.

Many children do not know how to button coats, especially when they are wearing gloves. The fact that they can fall back is amazing! They are as simple as buttoning up your coat and then hiding your fingers. They are very warm and so soft! The reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because I'm a plus size girl with big hands. I find my arms are medium sized and these weren't long enough! When I held my hand horizontally, the hole wasn't closed, meaning air could get in and out. The thumb hole was tight but I thought it would come loose with use but they were sent back because they didn't work as mittens! I couldn't just wear them open as there is no button/velcro to secure the open toe flap. They left lint on my pants even after 5 minutes of wear and not worth it unless you have small hands in my opinion!
