Need larger diameter bolts for better thread engagement so they don't pull out under load, you don't want bolts being pulled out when someone falls or leans on a cable, through your deck, roof, thump! etc. I use the best deep thread building/deck screws (not drywall), cheap insurance. As already mentioned, the screws are the only weak point. Even after drilling the pilot holes, many of the screw heads were torn off. I was still able to screw them in, but I had to go much slower and use a lot of force on the drill. I'm not even sure if you really need to use C wire guides when running wire through the lugs of a turnbuckle or bracket, but I did it anyway. Maybe it's aesthetic. Instructions are a bit vague for those who don't do this type of work. But judging by all the reviews and descriptions, this suggests that it is basic.
