grandchildren have lost our remote control. It drove my husband crazy. I got tired of hearing his complaints and was happy to find the very lost remote control. Assembly was easy and my husband is happy.

Should have been returned. Was only able to do one of the functions it was supposed to do and wasn't really compatible with the device/brand (Panasonic) it was advertised for! Indeed a useless purchase with no purpose!

The one I received breaks when held directly in front of the player. My old OEM remote works much better than this one. I was thinking of replacing the old one as a few buttons are sticking. Bad idea! To return!

Hmmm. Maybe my fault? It looked like my late Panasonic remote. Maybe some of them look the same but don't really interact with all Panasonic devices? "Mostly" it works, but some keys do nothing. Some others do "unexpected" things. Maybe there are different model numbers of remote devices that look the same?

I did a thorough search and made sure to order a remote control that had buttons in the exact same place as my broken unit. Unfortunately, the remote control sent to me differs from the device shown in the photo. It works well, but sometimes it's a bit of a hassle (especially in the dark) to press buttons that I'm used to instead of having them in one place. I'm glad I got a prompt replacement, but I'm sorry I didn't receive the item I ordered.

I don't care about the replacement remote we had to buy when the original remote stopped working properly. The buttons on the new ones are very slow to respond, sometimes they don't work until you press hard and long for a couple of times. And then of course it chooses two things instead of the one thing you chose. If we can send humans to the moon (yes, a corny cliche, but the only thing that comes to mind right now), why, oh why can't we make things that actually work the way they're supposed

I bought this to replace my DMP-BDT220 which was either hiding in my couch cushions or fell into a garbage bag or otherwise into a large lost remote bunker in the sky. I didn't test every button on the replacement (I didn't test every button on the original, by the way), and for basic DVD/Blu-Ray operations everything worked out of the box.
