How to quickly seal the car.

Synthetic clay disc allows you to quickly complete a previously tedious process. I connected it to the Porter Cable DA and turned on the first stage speed. With just the weight of the machine and plenty of lubricant, the entire machine was up and running in less than twenty minutes. I wash every other plate. Just because I couldn't see if any abrasives stuck to it. As I use it on several cars now I skip this process and just keep the pad lubricated and it glides easily to remove dirt. If you…

I still love the Nanoskin

I have used it on my full size truck and my wife's car. Both were white and I had no problems. Yes, I used their lube and went with a 7:1 ratio. Always drive into your windshield before applying paint. First make all the windows, and then proceed to paint. The first few times I used it by hand. This time I'll hit him with my DA and see if he goes faster. There is no need to apply pressure, just make sure it is lubricated and the pad on the glass is broken. For storage, I used a cheap plastic…

Why don't they make clay bars anymore?!

I've always disliked the idea of synthetic clay pads (which might be better than a clay stick), but another local detler swears by them. I decided to buy this rug and will never go back. I paired this mat with my 6" Griots Garage Boss Orbiter. I COMPLETELY removed all built-in parts from a full size sedan in less than 30 minutes*. It took me a little time to find the best system with it, otherwise managed I did it without fatigue in less than 10 minutes. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Just

Huge time saver when working with large panels

I bought this on a whim over two years ago and never got around to using it because I also had a Nanoskin autoscrub glove and the feeling of dirt in my hands loved I applied the clay. .But I was just detailing a friend's run down SUV before I sold it and it was very tiring to hand fiddle with those large panels, especially the hard to reach center of the roof. I remembered having a Nanoskin disc in one of my boxes. , and since I was going to use my random orbit to polish the car anyway, I tried

Withstands 25-30 cars, better than clay, such a time saver!

As a detailer, this is probably the most time-saving device and product I use. I didn't know how long this would take until I bought a Nanoskin (AS-019) AutoScrub Fine Grade Sponge for small areas the mat couldn't reach (e.g. door handles, support pillars, trim). old and new seal. I have included some photos to show the slight differences. The new pad feels a bit stickier, although I could probably still get 2-3 cars off the old pad. I've always wondered how long the laying would take and I…
