This is a great basket. I love that it has a cover and it looks amazing. After reading some reviews from people that they had difficulty opening, I looked for a remedy. By pulling the strap out of the bottom hole and threading it through the top hole only, you can open the basket simply by pulling on the strap. No digging with a thin object. This is by far the best method I've found because the lid is so tight you don't have to close it and it doesn't change the look. Easy to fix.

Love the look of the basket. That is beautiful. I have a mountain bike and I personally think it makes it more feminine and beautifies my bike. There is no mention of the origin of the product (American vs. imported), and Nantucket Bike Basket Co placed a very clever Revain ad in the middle of their basket, making it appear that their baskets are made in the USA. I shouldn't have been so naive. However, the price of the cart is quite high (nearly $75) so you can be assured that you are buying
