Overall a decent vest for $

Pros: 1) Nice and lightweight, 2) Easy bladder access. 3) Decent straps (mine stay in place unlike other reviews) Cons: 1) The phone case could be bigger, it only fits my Moto Z when I remove the case. 2) It would be possible to attach the house key with a carabiner in the storage compartment.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Sun-Sun

Fits very well and is functional!

I use this for my longer runs and trail runs. The front zip pocket is perfect for a phone (iPhone 13) and the main compartment I use for keys and energy gels. I'm 5ft 5" and 125lbs and I found the fit to be secure and not wobble when I run. It took me a minute to get used to the lapping of the water, but that goes for any hydration vest.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Empty

Leaking camping bladder

Overall I really liked this product and I'm happy to use it on my next long bike ride. But I didn't get very far when I realized the water was running down my back. I assumed I had screwed the lid on incorrectly and tried again a few days later while camping. Turns out the bladder itself has a leak and now I need to order a new bladder. As much as I spent on it - it shouldn't have such flaws. Very disappointed as I used to think this brand would deliver a quality product.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

First hydration vest

Used them for a 15 mile run in 90 degree weather. The cold water stayed cold for 3 hours with no ice until I stopped to refill. I saw a youtube video on how to trim the water part and I had it done quickly with no leaks. I love colors! My bulky phone with case fits in the zipped pocket. The straps hold up too, especially the one on the side. I had to stretch the front straps as much as possible. I don't know if I didn't have shoulders or something, but they kept slipping off. I still keep it…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some bugs

Decent choice, with a few flaws (i.e. worth buying!)

Super lightweight, has many easy adjustments that provide a great custom fit, has super accessible pockets, plenty of room in the main pocket (bladder located actually packs into its own "patch pocket" inside the main interior It's easy to fill and clean Drinking through the straw and chest strap that other reviewers have stated requires a pull up from time to time 7-9 Miles of trail running or hiking on a hot day.

Pros
  • Loads of positive vibes
Cons

A solid choice with a few minor flaws (ie worth buying!)

It's super light, has lots of easy adjustments for a great custom fit, has easy access pockets, plenty of room in the main pocket (the camera actually sits in its own "slip pocket"). " in the main interior. Easy to fill and clean. Cons (which actually applies to most other vest systems like this one): Muddy sound of water on your back, blisters in your stomach from drinking through a straw and a chest strap that needs to be tightened from time to time as other reviewers have said I still like…

Pros
  • MEN'S or WOMEN'S - Choose between blue-grey or black waistcoat. Designed and built for everyone. Soft edges around the perimeter prevent chafing.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Straps are the problem

This particular kit from Nathan has two problems. First, the balloon in this device is a cheaper version of the standard balloon and doesn't have a quick release buckle at the base. This type of bag is also more difficult to keep clean or dry. Second, and most importantly, the front straps are not tight. They break almost constantly. I tried different configurations (short/long front straps) and constantly had to adjust during the run. Also, I've noticed that the sloshing increases…

Pros
  • DESIGN - Lightweight and comfortable mesh material that wicks sweat and water. No rebound, no chafing, reflective visibility. For running, hiking, walking, horseback riding, etc.
Cons

Fits and wears well. but it really sucks.

QuickStart fits very well. It's light and very comfortable. The problem is that it squirts a lot. As. Crazy. The hydration bladder has no structure at all, it sits rather loosely in a backpack. I tried turning the camera upside down and sucking the air out and that reduced the noise a bit, but there was still excessive sloshing when running. In comparison, I've been using Nathan HPL 020 2L for the last 5 years (until my bladder eventually leaked). I had almost no sloshing with this backpack and

Pros
  • FUNCTIONALITY - QuickStart features a 1.5L hydration chamber, 2 front storage pockets and a zippered pocket for phone, keys and other valuables. A front pocket fits a 22-ounce water bottle. The main zippered pocket on the back offers space for extra layers of clothing and other essentials.
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others
