Our oriental rugs have a magical striped border that curls away from the cushions. I'll try applying a stronger adhesive but I was hoping this wasn't necessary. I could take thin metal and do the same.

I just put them on today but they were quite difficult to put on. Of course, I'm disabled and only use my left hand, but it was difficult to remove the backing from them and it ripped off some of the adhesive. I bought new mats and after a few weeks the edges started to curl. I saw these corners online and decided to try them out as they got great reviews. I should have known they would be a bigger problem than leaving the carpet when the corners are already slightly curled. I figured they would flatten out and attach all 8 corners to my rugs.
