These New Balances were cute for my son! It was a gray and silver pair. They go with many different outfits for him. He was very excited when they arrived and put them on immediately. I like that the chafe is mid-toe because boys my son's age often enjoy dragging their feet or stopping bikes on horseback. My son has worn them all summer and they are still in great condition. I was skeptical ordering them as New Balance tends to be too tight on my son's foot but they were perfect. They were well constructed, the sole of the shoe felt solid yet light, and the material of the shoe was breathable and easily conformed to the shape of the foot as you ran/walked.
