I needed all black shoes for work, they fit perfectly with some insoles because I have a heel spur. I love them, will order them in the future.

We bought our twin room and within FEW DAYS the toes were bare. Very poor quality from New Balance. The same thing happened when we bought our son uniform shoes a few years ago. Lesson learned, I was hoping their quality had improved or would be different as they were girls shoes a few years later. nope!

They look good and meet the requirements for children's uniforms in school. But after a month, the seams on one of the fingers came undone and the shoes parted. I know kids are picky about shoes but it seems like a slight scrape on the toe ripped a few stitches and now the toe is completely disintegrating. I'll try gluing the fingers together to make them last a little longer, but this is definitely disappointing. Perhaps the children's shoes should have been glued and sewn together first.

New Balance is the perfect solution for your wide footed boy. They are not STRONG QUALITY for boys. Had to buy two pairs (same size) in one school year and my son is rather cautious. So if you have a wild LOL, count on 3-4 pairs if you want him to look great in his uniform with no holes. I love NB as an adult but am wondering if they can empower children? Either way, reasonable and fits my 6 year old boy with Flintson's feet. I'd rather pay 10-15$ extra for more than 6 months? Also the laces…

These New Balance shoes were bought for my son's school shoes. Looking at their (good) condition, it's hard to say it's been 5 months already! The color hasn't faded or worn off (black color probably helps). Whether he's picky about boots or not, there's little evidence he ever wore them. He wears them at least 7.5 hours, about 3 days a week. I'm already a fan of New Balance so the quality doesn't really surprise me. I recommend New Balance for durability and quality. Update. You are still the best. I thought I'd give Stride Rite a try since they were considered so orthodox, but I wasn't impressed so I bought another pair of these. At least the eighth pair my son has. I have been buying the same shoes for my son for many years. It's hard to find leather shoes these days, and these mesh shoes are too cold in winter and won't last long. They come in white and black, with lacing or velcro, and I've bought several of each.
