Noctua NA SEC2 Molex Connector Cable Review

I had to extend a 3 pin fan connector which worked. However, the cables under heat shrinkage have a nice ketchup and mustard color. I ended up cutting some electrical tape and wrapping it around the end of the connector. My expectations were higher with Noctua.

This product came to me at just the right time. It came in a great box that I use for other cables etc. The 3 prong extensions work as intended. The cables are supplied with sleeves for extra protection. I recommend to anyone who needs a 3 pin extension cord.

I would give this 5 stars but the creases in the packaging from folding won't flatten out. Let's just say they are very good quality. Shielding is top notch, connections are good.

Beautiful cables with sleeves. I wish they were a little longer but still worked very well for my needs. They helped me connect the case fans on the bottom of my case to the fan controller at the top behind the motherboard.

Not much to say here, well done, decent length. I have never been disappointed with a Noctua product. The skin is very nice, a bit sticky, but for my use it's normal, especially since it's not the kind of material you feel every day. In my case they look very nice.

The tab on the connector designed to grab the fan connector is very thin. Be very careful, push it all the way in to lock it. I managed to snap it on two of those cables the first time I used them and the connection is very weak without that tab. The third survived, but doesn't hold up for multiple connections/disconnections.
