Perfect size and strong.

Seems like a silly article but I think it's necessary. Just want to say this is the perfect size for punching a hole in a small can, like a can of clove milk. I ordered other knives and they were too big. Therefore, when ordering a can opener, check the dimensions carefully. In my opinion, this is the perfect/normal size. This one is also well made - not cheap so it doesn't bend.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Long wait

Doesn't work, return not possible.

I thought it would be great given the average 4 star rating. Received mine today and it won't stick to the rim of the can to punch a hole. I tried multiple cans just in case the problem was with the juice can I was trying to open. I couldn't even punch the smallest hole in anything. I'll keep using the little tool in my wallet until I get something else. Even though I am a Prime member and this item is eligible for Prime, this item cannot be returned.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • No automatic

I don't use it very often, but I like to keep it on the side of my computer (on a magnet). So if I have a hard-to-open bottle, it's available. It's 1000% better than the bottle opener on the side of these can openers. With them you have to be exactly right to open the bottle cap. It's very easy to open something with it (above) and it looks just like "Church Keys". I remember many people wearing it to church picnics years ago, before pop tops were invented.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Hard to say

Strong, good magnet, copes with its task.

I have the same for many years. It's one of those things that you use so infrequently that it can get lost and you don't know for months. I used mine on Thanksgiving to open condensed milk for a pumpkin pie, but when I looked for it to open a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale for a recipe it was nowhere to be found. I looked through the listings at Revain until I found one that resembled my old one and was very pleased when it arrived. Exactly what I wanted and now it's hanging on the fridge door…

Pros
  • special offer
Cons
  • appearance

Opens bottles and cans like a champ. First class fit and finish. The magnet is not impressive. Holds it to the side of the fridge but without much headroom - it holds a coupon but not 5 or 6 sheets of paper. I'm wondering why the description says "hand wash only". It seems to have survived going through the dishwasher, but maybe the magnet isn't designed to work with chlorine-based cleaners? I don't expect to have to wash often, so it's no big deal.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • will be added later

The magnet is not simply glued on!

The magnet is strong enough to hold the opener in place without slipping off. What I particularly like is that the magnet isn't just glued to the back of the opener, it's riveted. (My last one was glued, and of course the glue broke after a few washes.) I've used a bottle opener to open the tops of my cans and it works great: the top pops off every time. I haven't used a can opener yet, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work. It's the right shape and definitely strong enough to get the job…

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say
