Fantastic first juicing experience

Just finished using this steamer for the first time. Easy to use and easy to clean. I refilled the water twice just because I was nervous. I forgot to put balls or metal utensils in the water before boiling to hear the rumble as I was advised. It was also very easy to tilt the juice pot slightly to drain the juice through the tube into the large spherical jug below the level of the spout. The grips weren't hot at all and I didn't even have to use the hose clamp when it started leaking. Madeโ€ฆ

Where have you been all my life?

I had a single auger juicer that worked well but eventually stopped working properly. Who knows which part is worn out. It doesn't matter since the parts were no longer available. I've had my eye on one of these for a while, so I figured it's time to give it a try. My god, what did I miss? No longer was I standing at the counter for hours and force-feeding dozens of pounds of fruit down my throat in an extractor, I was putting this thing on the stovetop, filling it up, and basically going about

Compare Norpro and Mehu-Lisa. Norpro wins!

A few weeks ago I chose Mehu-Liisa. I really liked that it's not made in China (Norpro is). Some of the reviews weren't great, but I got it anyway. I've used it to juice several batches of nutmeg grapes. In the evening when I was cleaning it up I noticed a few rust spots in the puddle of water. There were a few things I didn't like about him and that was the last straw. I packed and sent it back. And I ordered Norpro the same day. I've been juicing with Norpro yesterday and today and it'sโ€ฆ

Buy now! Bought ten years ago!

Like many others, I have only positive things to say about this steam juicer. On the first day we used it to convert 2.5 pounds of elderberries into 30 ounces (almost 1 quart) of juice, which is a 75% elderberry yield! We then started with 75 pounds of freshly picked pears. They produced four gallons, which is 40% of the production of Minnesota pears. Now I'm making pear and elderberry cider. Delicious! A batch takes about two hours, and I had to cook five batches of pears. Almost no workโ€ฆ

Works pretty well. I will continue to use it.

I used this product to preserve grape juice. The instructions came with the item and contained several recipes that were helpful. You MUST make sure he doesn't run out of water, so keep track of each batch as the water is used unevenly each time. The stronger the boiling, the faster the water runs out. Pros: Very easy to set up and clean. I love the glass lid so I can see the fruit moving in the top basket. Works pretty well and I was able to juice in about an hour per batch compared to theโ€ฆ
