These gloves are good although I think they are a bit pricey for the quality. I think we mainly pay for the brand. On the inside of my gloves on the thumb of my left hand, the material is a bit damaged, so it's uncomfortable to press on the thumb. I want thin, light ski gloves for the winter. I have some very good glove covers that I use alone and they are always warm enough but very bulky. They have warm, padded gloves, but they are neither waterproof nor windproof, so they cannot be worn alone. I used these North Face gloves for a run in South Carolina this morning in the 36 degree weather. They look great but don't warm my hands as much as I expected. The North Face is synonymous with warm gear, but these gloves were a little lacking. My hands weren't icy, but they weren't that warm either. I expected a lot of protection because of the name. It's not always possible to judge by that. Well, we all know the rest. Looks? Brilliant! Protection? Not as much.
