Gloves North Face Apex

These gloves are good although I think they are a bit pricey for the quality. I think we mainly pay for the brand. On the inside of my gloves on the thumb of my left hand, the material is a bit damaged, so it's uncomfortable to press on the thumb. I'm too lazy to send it back - but that's another reason to buy something like this in the store. Gloves are decent for warmth, but I wouldn't wear them in temperatures below 10 degrees - when 20-30 FI feels cold it easily pierces the gloves. The…

Best of 3 pairs I tested

I want thin, light ski gloves for the winter. I have some very good glove covers that I use alone and they are always warm enough but very bulky. They have warm, padded gloves, but they are neither waterproof nor windproof, so they cannot be worn alone. My goal was to find a thin, warm, wind and waterproof glove that I could wear while skiing and then when it gets really cold, I put protective covers over them. I ordered three pairs of Etip style gloves: Flydigo touchscreen gloves (left)…

Pros
  • WINTER CLOTHING. This highly versatile softshell glove features a U|R Powered touchscreen compatible palm for optimal hiking performance.
Cons
  • Negative impression

Not always what is in the name

I used these North Face gloves for a run in South Carolina this morning in the 36 degree weather. They look great but don't warm my hands as much as I expected. The North Face is synonymous with warm gear, but these gloves were a little lacking. My hands weren't icy, but they weren't that warm either. I expected a lot of protection because of the name. It's not always possible to judge by that. Well, we all know the rest. Looks? Brilliant! Protection? Not as much.

Pros
  • GREAT GRIP. The radiometric articulation keeps the hands in their natural relaxed position. The silicone palm offers excellent grip. The pull tab on the cuff makes it easy to put on and take off.
Cons
  • Not bad
