Insulated sock has fur on top and regular sock on the inside. It's a great concept but not warm enough to wear in winter. Regular rubber boots and wool socks work best. The usefulness of the reed holes is great. It has potential, but for real protection from the cold, the insulation needs to be strengthened. May work in some states but not under 40 in Wisconsin.

My daughter is 4 1/2 years old, slim with slightly long flat feet, size 11 and has enough room to grow and thick socks. She will not wear uncomfortable or ugly shoes.
