Great product and even better customer service!

I can't tell you how happy I am with this power supply. In addition to many safety features to prevent damage to the circuit board, the power supply has a very detailed specification of its performance. The icing on the cake is the customer service which is resourceful and professional. John helped me fix the fuse on the power supply and I have to say I haven't seen customer service this good in a long time. Good for this company!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Insanely slow

Works great in computer components

I'm using this to power a small "micro" ATX power supply for a laptop I'm building. This power supply has reached 100 hours and works great. I'm not drawing all the 13 amps it advertises, but I've drawn over 10 amps over a period of time and it's holding up great. It gets hot at higher loads, so I would suggest a heatsink fan on the output side.

Pros
  • Finished
Cons
  • Appearance

Elegant mini amp solution

Ideal solution for 5-24V amps. Also 5V output for 12V low speed fan. More elegant than an external power supply. The tested characteristics of the power supply correspond to reality. An old hard drive case repurposed to fit everything. Can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Keeping my fists
Cons
  • High price

Very good power supply for DIY projects

Arrived on time. It looks very assembled with no sloppy soldering. I checked the output voltage and it was perfect as advertised. I use it to power a digital AC voltage source (0-50V). While it works great.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Security

AC/DC converter

Several voltages have to be converted in a 110 V powder coating oven. This provided a transformer to step down 110VAC to 12VDC and 5VDC for this project. Good work. Look at the instructions and where to connect which wires. Very handy little transformer and I would buy it again for any projects where I need 12VDC or 5VDC as it outputs both voltages. Useful and quick to setup/install.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Ratio kit

The rails are not isolated from each other.

Since the photos of the product don't show any trace of the output on the board, I checked the comments to see if the voltage rails are isolated from each other. The seller replied that it is, but in the device I just received the GND/Return buses are tied together. It is isolated from the network, but the rails are NOT isolated from each other. I may still be able to use this device, but now I need to redesign the whole circuit for more safety and extra isolation.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Big and bulky
