NRS 1-Inch Heavy 🔒 Duty Tie Down Strap Twin Pack Review

I use them to attach the rear wheel of my bike to the bike rack in my car. I was looking for strong straps that I could trust and I'm glad I paid a little more to get these. They are very strong and hold up well and don't slip or come loose.

I use them to attach a kayak to the roof of a car and they are great. They don't slip and are easy to tighten. My only regret is that I didn't get the look with rubber buckle bumpers. It's only $1 more for the same NRS straps and preserves your car's paint.

I have tried different types of ties and I have often come back and bought them. These are heavier straps with durable fittings. Great for mounting kayaks on the roof of a car and other occasions when I needed to hold things. They come in different lengths and I would use them again.

I have an expensive ($4000) ultralight canoe and bought NRS straps based on reviews. They don't disappoint. The strapping material is heavier than most, and the clip that holds the nylon strap in place has amazing gripping power. I will use NRS straps for any load I need and would wholeheartedly recommend this product.

They are easier to use than a ratchet strap. Also, without a hook, there is less risk of scratching the paintwork on the roof. Only thing I would say is buy more length than you think you need. I bought two 6ft lengths and they weren't long enough to wrap around two kayaks. But in the spring I will definitely buy a longer set.

As these belts were on the shipping route within three days, my rating is based on first impressions from us only. The material appears to be very durable, as does the tensioning buckle that is attached. Based on the first use and experience, I would recommend the product. Durability is just a guess in my 'excellent' ratings based on perception of superior quality.

I love these NRS straps. I have several of these in various lengths (1ft, 3ft, 6ft, 12ft) for a variety of uses. If you love sports and relaxation, these belts are a must. You can use them for almost anything you can think of: tie down bikes and kayaks, use them as compression straps, tie items together for easy carrying and/or storage, etc. The quality with the metal buckle seems pretty good I think , they will last a while. Not sure how it compares to some of the cheaper bands but I'm happy…
